• What do you need to send money using Western Union at DTB?

  Visit any DTB branch and selected partners where the service is available and bring along:

  • A photo identity document (see below for accepted forms of id in Kenya) if sending more than $1,000
  • The amount of money you wish to send in Kenya Shilling plus fees
  • Two names of the Receiver and country he or she is in

• What do you need to receive money using Western Union?

  The Teller will ask you for:

  • Money Transfer Control Number
  • Answer to the test question
  • Approximate amount of money you expect to receive
  • Sender’s first and last name and the country from where the money was sent.
  • A photo identity document (see below for accepted forms of ID in Uganda)
